Our server Alyssa was prompt and attentive. Checked back several times to be sure we had everything we wanted. The food was great, loved the turnip green bites and will come back.
The food was delicious especially the duck wantons. We were seated promptly in the bar area. Our server was also the bar tender. The service was definitely lacking that day. We only ordered appetizers since he never came back to check in with us. I will definitely come back again for try more menu items.
First time but not my last. I met sweet Mrs. Jackie, the GM and my waiter Myeshia was very professional and filled me up with tea😍 the turnip bites are off the scale. Can’t wait to return.
When coming in our group of 5 originally wanted to sit upon rooftop, we went up but the 2 employees up there made it seem like we were inconviencong them by wanted us to eat up there, there was no one up there at all butthe still seemed like they did not want us up thefe and was being very snotty towards us so we just came back down stairs and we had Alyssa as our server and she wasamazing!!! She was nice, kind and accomodating. SHE TURNED what almost was a horrible service and review in to a great one, we really appreciated her kindness and making us feel like she wanted us to be here
The atmosphere at Georgia Blue is nothing short of amazing. The little short lady Jackie(GM) was phenomenal. She showed excellent customer service and helped wherever she was needed. She was all smiles and full of kindness. The bartender was very tentative and kind. -Eric Cash Southaven Kia-
OMG! THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING THE WHOLE VIBE AND ATMOSPHERE IS WHAT U LOOKING FOR ANY SPECIAL OCCASION GEORGIA BLUE IS WHERE TO HAVE IT! I'VE ONLY BEING TWICE BOTH WERE SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTIES!THEN YOU CAN DECORATE HOW YOU WANT❤️❤️❤️❤️💓💓
We had Alyssa down stairs and she was incredibe. We decided to move upstairs to the bar and continue some drinks and she came looking for us because we ordered desserts and forgot to get them before moving up to the rooftop bar and she was nice enough to find us to see if we still wanted them. She was so nice and helpful.
The staff on the rooftop was questionably nice. They gave the impression that they didn’t want our group of 5 up there even though there was anyone there. 4pm on a Saturday makes sense, but I digress. Now. ALYSSA, our server downstairs, was fantastic! She was attentive, shared her preferred dishes, and accommodated each request we had with grace! You will definitely be served well if placed in Alyssa’s section. As for food, pretty sure these are the best fried pickles I’ve had. I also tried fried green tomatoes for the first time here and they’re so yummy! I don’t like tomatoes in general but I will put some of these AWAY. The mahi tacos were also super yummy!
I got the Mardi Gras and husband got bayou catfish. Our waitress was nice and very attentive. Mine was amazing! I also tasted my husband’s and them grits were on point! We will be back because this was some of the best food I’ve had in a while! The prices were not bad at all!
Despite some of the reviews we read while traveling to this restaurant, we decided to try them for ourselves. We were seated immediately. We decided we wanted to sit in the bar area so we moved. Flando (I hope I got his name right) was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu (he gave suggestions), and made sure we got out drinks right away. It wasn't too busy when we arrived so the noise level was perfect. We tried the duck wantons, turnip greens deep fried, and we each had an entree, (pasta, fried catfish). Top tier!! The sauce with the dris greens and the duck wanton was Ah-mazing!! Always try things for yourself. I'm glad we didn't let the negative reviews keep us from this place!
